Biografía

Paloma Izquierdo (b. 1995, Havana, Cuba) is a sculptor and installation artist who distorts familiar infrastructures. She holds an MFA in Sculpture from Yale School of Art and a BFA from Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art. Recent and upcoming exhibitions include HESSE FLATOW; Murmurs, Los Angeles; Mattatuck Museum; Helena Anrather; Swivel; among others. She has participated in residencies at Pioneer Works, Triangle Arts, Speciwoman, Lighthouse Works, Oolite Arts, Ox-Bow School of Arts and will attend the Fine Arts Work Center fellowship program in Fall 2026. Her work has been recognized by the Foundation for Contemporary Arts, New York Foundation for the Arts, the Cintas Foundation, and YoungArts.
