Mason Saltarrelli (b.1979 New Orleans, Louisiana). Mason Saltarrelli’s jubilant forms paint human, animal and inanimate beings into buoyant remembrances in an ever-evolving carousel of shape and color. His engagement with a succinct collection of discovered and abstracted characters and syllabaries embraces the space between beings and spirit while an expressiveness of intuitively woven motifs unfolds untold exploration in the watcher.

 

Mason Saltarrelli (b. 1979, New Orleans, LA)  received a BA in photojournalism from Fordham University. Saltarrelli’s work has been exhibited at Turn Gallery, New York, NY; Timothy Hawkinson Gallery, Los Angeles, CA; Fordham University at Lincoln Center, New York, NY; Meessen De Clercq, Belgium; Guild Hall, East Hampton, NY; Ace Hotel, New Orleans, LA and New York, NY; Marvin Gardens, New York, NY; Galleri Jacob Bjorn, Denmark; Shrine Gallery, New York; NY; Gallery 9, Australia; among others. Saltarrelli currently lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
