Pauline-Rose Dumas’s practice explores, through the guiding thread of tthe line, whether made of metal, embroidery, or charcoal, the links that unite seemingly contradictory practices: forge, drawing, photography, and textile. Pauline-Rose Dumas took part in numerous residencies, notably at the NARS Foundation in New York (USA, 2023), ArtMéssiamé in Lomé (Togo, 2024), Mountain School of Arts in Los Angeles (2024) and La Chapelle Saint-Antoine in Naxos (Greece, 2025). She is currently a resident at the prestigious Albers Foundation in Connecticut, (2026, USA).

 

Pauline-Rose Dumas (b. 1996, Paris, France) graduated from the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris (Tatiana Trouvé Atelier, 2022) and from Chelsea College of Arts (London, 2019) in textile design. In 2022, she completed a residency at the Cité des Arts in Paris, with support from the European Investment Bank. She participated, in 2023 and 2024, in group exhibitions: partnership with Christie’s, Jacques Prévert’s apartment, and she was a finalist for the Carré sur Seine Prize. She is represented by the Anne-Laure Buffard gallery in Paris, which presented her at Art Paris at the Grand Palais (2024 / 2025) and dedicated her a solo exhibition "Studio Everywhere" in 2025. Her works are part of public and private collections (Thalie Foundation / European Investment Bank Luxembourg / Vent des Forêts). Dumas lives and works between Paris and New York.
