Carl D'Alvia's solo exhibtion "Paper Trail"

Carl D'Alvia's solo show  Paper Trail at Dashwood Projects is open from February 20th through March 22nd.⁠

On view are 23 drawings of various sizes - as well as three small sculptures - from over 20 years of the artist’s career; from sketchbooks to early figurative explorations and contemporary abstract pieces all in a variety of mediums: pencil, Bic ballpoint pen, charcoal and ink. Along with the book of the same name published by Dashwood Books, they delve into the evolution of the artists’ sculptural techniques and the emergence of some of his best know tropes or characters.
