Winter Street Gallery is excited to present Night Watch, a group exhibition featuring artworks by Ivan Forde, Maryam Hoseini, Marcus Jahmal, Quentin James McCaffrey, Daniel Correa Mejía, Larissa De Jesús Negrón, and Rachel Rossin. United by a dreamlike atmosphere, the works of these seven artists unfold with a sense of mystery and imagination. Moving fluidly between landscape, architectural interior, and amorphic figuration, the themes conveyed center variously on epic tales, personal memories, and ancient rituals. Borrowing its title from the 1642 painting by Rembrandt van Rijn, the exhibition unravels an open-ended narrative with otherworldly intimations.
